Artist Yi Zhao
She has worked as a journalist for news agencies and publishing companies, as an adjunct professor at numerous universities, and as an art director for projects and curator of international installation exhibitions.
She published over 200 pieces of writing in a variety of genres, including poetry, essays, reportage, and papers.
She has also been involved in art production, including installations and abstract paintings, for over 20 years.
To date, she has published a collection of his personal soft sculptures, "Special and Attractive Soft Sculptures," a collection of works from his solo installation exhibition in New York, "The Supreme Realm," and a comprehensive collection of his personal works, "From Being to Nothingness."
His works are held in the collections of PREVIEWS Gallery in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Beijing, Art Daily in Taiwan, Shengling Gallery in Shanghai, Guan Fu Zhai in Beijing, Beijing Central Holiday Hotel, the Presidential Suite of the Beijing Friendship Hotel, China Huayi Group, as well as institutions and private individuals in Canada, the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, and China.
受賞歴
1999年上海にて国際連合東方芸術委員会から芸術委員の任命書および就労証明書を授与；
1997年から2002年までの5年間、中国芸術博覧会にて連続して優秀賞を受賞；
2012年、中国文化部よりロンドンオリンピック美術大会委員会の「2012ロンドンオリンピック美術大会卓越貢献賞」を受賞。
